AQUATIC THERAPY

Aquatic Therapy is gravity-reduced exercise for medical conditions such as joint replacement, arthritis, fibromyalgia and other conditions needing direct therapy supervision.

It is not necessary to know how to swim to be able to receive aquatic therapy.  It is not swimming, but specific exercises done with the assistance of the therapist or therapy aide.

It will be performed at the Denton Water Works Park Natatorium at Sherman Drive and Loop 288.

The warm indoor pool will be used year-round and has scheduled days and a designated area for "physical therapy only."

There are convenient steps with side railings to assist patients and an aquatic therapy chair that will allow less ambulatory patients the convenience of being lowered and raised during therapy sessions

It is prescribed by your doctor for many types of injuries and illnesses. For more information, please contact our clinic at  (940) 566-5714.

Medicare Insurance Plans Taken Care of Here - Over 60% of Medicare recipients claim to still be confused by Medicare changes of 2006. (Arthritis Today magazine)  If you have questions whether your therapy will be covered, give us a call at (940) 566-5714 and we can verify all of your benefits to assure proper payment before you begin your program.  For more information please call us at (940) 566-5714 or go to <Insurance Plans> link on the left to see the latest plans.

Therapy on Saturdays is available - We provide appointment times every Saturday to better meet your needs on scheduling.  Please let us know if this will work better for you and your lifestyle.

Warm Aquatic Therapy Great for Cold Days - Warm Water Aquatic Therapy is provided all year round in heated pools.  This allows our patients to rehabilitate and heal at the same time.  The shallow end is only waist-deep so patients don't have to swim or get their hair wet!
